KyaKhaye helps you decide what to eat and where. This policy explains what the KyaKhaye apps for iPhone and Android do with your information. The short version: there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don't run a server that stores your data.

Information stored on your device

Your preferences, dietary choices, palate quiz answers, ratings, saved places and lists are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Location

If you allow it, KyaKhaye uses your device's location while the app is open to find food places near you and estimate walking time. Your location is sent to the Google Places API only to fetch those results. We don't store your location or send it anywhere else. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings and search for an area by name instead.

Third-party services

• Google Places provides place details, photos and location search. Requests to Google are covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Open-Meteo provides the current weather used for weather-aware suggestions. These requests don't include your location.
• Apple App Store and Google Play handle KyaKhaye Premium subscriptions. We never see your payment details. The app only checks whether your subscription is active.

Tracking and advertising

KyaKhaye doesn't track you across apps or websites, doesn't show ads, and doesn't sell or share your personal information.

Children

KyaKhaye isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
